With over 30 years of experience in complex high profile retail, institutional, and mixed-use projects in Europe, Asia, and the United States, Manuel Bouza has developed a unique sensitivity to detail and architectural placemaking which forms the basis to his approach to the design process. As a Vice President and Principal Designer at The Jerde Partnership, his primary responsibility is to work closely with clients and lead design teams for the development of large international and domestic mixed-use architectural projects. Among his many noteworthy projects include the World Market Center in Las Vegas Nevada and Dubai Festival City UAE. Before joining JPI, Manuel worked with Norman Foster + Partners, Richard Meier, and Partners and Hardy, Holzman, Pfeiffer, and associates. While with HHPA Manuel was a senior designer on the GSA Design Award-winning Tucson Federal Court building, and also worked on the design of the highly acclaimed Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles. Manuel received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the California State University, Pomona, and studied in the Graduate Program at the Architectural Association in London.
